Within 2 weeks, Muslims will celebrate “Idul Fitri”, which means long holiday is coming. You have a lot of things to do and to consider before leaving for a holiday trip. Read through our tips before going for vacation.

  1.     Make an itinerary.

Before leaving for a vacation, you should make an itinerary. You can write down the location that you will visit, how many days, what variants of food you would like to try and more. Don’t let your vacation time to be wasted because of your unclearness of  what you should do.

Itinerary can be your guide, so make sure to make one, so you could enjoy your holiday in accordance with your planning.

  1.     Create a holiday budget.

Since holiday can be quite expensive sometimes, it is important for you to break down your spending and allocate funds for every plan you have made. Budget will be a required thing after you have made your itinerary. You should create a list of all holiday expenses that you will have. After that, you can start by setting your daily budget for expected expenses such as food, drink, shopping, and other activities. By doing so, you could minimize your costs and save some of your money.

  1. Make a list of things to bring and double check it.

You should remember to bring essential items such as money, passport, travel itinerary, prescriptions, medications, first aid supplies, phone charger, adapters, toiletries and more. Don’t forget to double check your list to make sure that you don’t forget to bring your important belongings.

  1. Start cleaning up!

You should prepare your energy for cleaning up your house before you leave. You can start off by washing your bed sheets, cleaning the bathroom, taking out the trash, sweeping the floor and more. It is necessary to do this, because to make sure that you are not in for a nasty surprise when you have returned from your holiday, and everything is still fresh when you get back.

  1. Unplug and switch off all electronics.

Don’t forget to turn everything off, unplug them to conserve energy and to save money.
